Private Dealing

Dorothy buys and sells on behalf of clients as a private dealer. Through extensive networking and years of professional experience, artworks are sourced based on a client's request for a specific artwork or on Dorothy’s knowledge of their personal collections. Her extensive travel and continuous viewing at venues such as galleries, museums, and art fairs provide a constant source of possibility and opportunity.

Resale of Artworks

When clients wish to divest works, Dorothy consults with them on market analysis and the most effective strategy for resale. She may act as the agent of sale to a third party or as the administrator of the sale. If auction is chosen for divestiture, the appropriate auction house is determined and the contract is negotiated on behalf of the client. Consultation is available for individual works and complete collections.

Buying at Auction

Dorothy buys for clients at auction internationally. Her activity may include bidding on behalf of a client, recommending artwork for bidding, price analysis, physical inspection of the artwork and contract negotiation. Client confidentiality is strictly maintained.
